On Wednesday, July 21, at the Primorsky Regional Public Library named after A.M. Gorky hosted a poetry evening and film screening. The guests of the event heard poems by Anna Akhmatova, Marina Tsvetaeva, Alexander Blok and Alexander Vertinsky and enjoyed the screening of the anime “Five centimeters per second” (12+) by Makoto Sinkaya, according to IA PrimaMedia.
At 19.00 in the concert hall of the library the project “Nevstrecha” was presented to the public. The audience heard songs to verses by Anna Akhmatova, Marina Tsvetaeva and Alexander Vertinsky. Visitors plunged into the atmosphere of feelings and thoughts of the creators, accompanied by the poetry of Alexander Blok. Actresses Alexandra Gertseva and Marina Ivanenko acted as poetry readers. And the voice of the Soviet singer Elena Kamburova accompanied the song part.
– Today we were touched by the glimpse of silver art, to which they [поэты] served, – the director of the library Alexander Bryukhanov shared his impression.
The audience responded positively to the event and warmly thanked the performers and organizers.
At 21.00, the anime “Five centimeters per second” was shown. Film connoisseurs enjoyed Makoto Shinkai’s delightful performance in the open-air library park.
