He presented the multiple award-winning documentary series Cosmos: An odyssey through the universe and, since 2006, he has hosted the NOVA scienceNOW program on PBS. In his book, An astrophysicist in your living room, he shares his correspondence with his readers around the world on universal or intimate themes linked to the cosmos.
