Caracas Comics celebrated 15 years with 7,000 visitors
Venezuela’s main freak and otaku event birthday! Caracas Comics has provided a unique experience for all comics, anime and games fans in our country, and this year it is preparing for the style.
“It’s a safe space where we can be ourselves and no one will judge us. We can grab our inner kids and be happy,” Daniela Paolillo, founder of the program, told us in 2010, since then, and directed the event. “All families, children and adults, we all have an exciting experience with such a special role.”
This is my love for comics and entertainment, the details of Paolillo, which was born. He pointed out that Venezuela has such a space and I realized that if I didn’t, no one would do it. “With our incredible working team, we have moved forward to that point to growth despite the situation in the country.”
More than ever!
Enjoy performances, concerts, role-playing and voice-over competitions, moments shared with guests in person, video game sections and collection board games, karaoke, food sections, many role-players (fans with character costumes), and a large collection of artists on shops and related topics. “This is just the beginning; the next comic always surpasses the previous one. The best is yet to come!” stressed Paolillo.
This year, Valencia comics also took place in March, with the public prevailing in the region. The organization plans to expand to more cities in Venezuela in 2026 and add more states each year.
The 15-year Caracas Comic was held at Events on Francisco de Miranda Avenue from August 16 to 17, with a capacity of 7,000 people.
