On the official website of the anime “Demon Slayer”, it was announced today that new information on the adaptation of the anime will be available as part of the “Demon Slayer Festival -Anime 2nd Anniversary Festival-“. What this could be is still unclear.
The event takes place on Valentine’s Day
The online event will take place on February 14, 2021 from 12:00 am German time. A few hours in advance, four new short episodes titled “Tales from Demon Slayer Academy” (in Japanese: “Kimetsu Gakuen Valentine-hen”) and hosted by the ufotable studio will be posted on the Aniplex YouTube channel.
The animated series “Demon Slayer” was broadcast on Japanese television from April to September 2019. The sequel film “Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Movie: Mugen Train” celebrated its premiere on October 16, 2020 in Japan. Director Haruo Sotozaki was in charge of production at the ufotable studio.
In this country, the series was licensed by the Peppermint anime and released on DVD and Blu-ray. WAKANIM and ANIMAX also offer them on demand. The film is scheduled to hit German theaters on March 25, 2021.
