During the BlizzCon Online, Blizzard announced the release of Diablo 2: Resurrected, a remaster of the iconic title. We see below everything we know, including the release date, trailers and a few screenshot.
Over the course of their extensive gaming experience, Blizzard has created some titles that have made history. From World of Warcraft a Overwatch, there is a title for everyone. One of these classics, however, is the devil series. Over the past year, we’ve seen everything from the announcement of Diablo IV to a crazy cosplay that blends the universes of Diablo and Overwatch, but there’s still more exciting news about the franchise.
While an exact release date has yet to be announced, it has been confirmed that Diablo 2 Resurrected will be launched in 2021. A leak, however, implied that the official release date for the highly anticipated remastered of the iconic chapter will be the September 23, 2021. This news has obviously not been confirmed so we should wait for new information from Blizzard.
Diablo 2 Resurrected game will feature a full remaster in High resolution 4K with 3D images, new animations and audio surround Dolby 7.1.
As for the gaming platforms, Blizzard has anticipated that Diablo 2 Resurrected will be available on PC and all consoles: PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X e Nintendo Switch. As a bonus, the game will also feature cross progression so players can continue leveling up their characters no matter what platform they are using, just linking their account.
