Since its first episode, The Promised Neverland season 2 has not fully convinced viewers. Between too fast pace, missing chapters and even completely cut narrative arcs, fans are starting to turn their noses up at the plot created ad hoc by CloveWorks for the anime.
Currently airing on VVVVID, The Promised Neverland 2 had debuted despite everything with a good score on My Anime List, one of the most famous anime and manga databases on the net. With the first episode, the work of CloverWorks was hovering on an average rating of 8.30, a value that however has begun to decline slowly in recent weeks.
Shortly before the airing of The Promised Neverland 2×05, the anime had an average rating of 8.05 which, however, dropped further within a few hours. After the episode was broadcast via various streaming services around the world, The Promised Neverland 2 first dropped to 7.94 and then to 7.85. A continuous decline marked by further cuts arrived with the new episode broadcast.
While we are writing to you, The Promised Neverland 2 is currently stuck on a rating of 7.84 and therefore seems to continue an implacable descent. The story won’t continue next week as a recap episode has been scheduled for The Promised Neverland 2.
