Did Akechi Mitsuhide rebel if there was a lawyer during the Warring States period? The Japan Federation of Bar Associations has released an original animation on the video posting site “YouTube” where lawyers respond to consultations on historical figures such as power harassment, debt, and marital problems, and is calling for the use of legal counseling centers in each region.
The animation consists of 8 episodes, totaling about 9 minutes. In “Akechi Mitsuhide is not allowed to go to Honnoji”, Mitsuhide pulls out his sword, saying, “I’ll raise it to the blood festival,” raising anger at the rants and violence of his lord Oda Nobunaga. The lawyer says, “Don’t do it. The law protects you. Let’s think about ways together.” And accepts the sword in the Six Codes.
According to the Japan Federation of Bar Associations, a male lawyer from Kumamoto Prefecture came up with the idea and was in charge of the script.
