MSI’s Evangelion gaming line is a true fan service

Last year we tackled an MSI monitor model with the Neon Genesis Evangelion evolution, leaving predators behind for a full EVA Unit-01 themed setup. While MSI has confirmed it has no plans to release the monitor, the company has revealed a limited-edition set of components based on the popular 1990s anime, meaning you can now tell Shinji to make your own computer bag. to buy.

The range, called the MSI x Evangelion e: Project Edition, includes the motherboard, AIO cooler, case and power supply. If you are a fan of anime, you will immediately recognize these purple-clad parts, the aesthetics of which correspond to the biotechnology of the main character. However, the group’s attention to detail extends to the earlier color schemes, where the mobo has digital references printed on the PCB and CPU socket protectors.

The real star of the show is, of course, the Evangelion e: Project case, which is what it’s all about with a beautiful illustration on the side panel of Unit 01. While the set’s attention to detail makes the whole package somewhat fitting, the overall design surprisingly subtle, meaning you don’t have to be an animation geek to appreciate the effort put into a project.

It should be noted that while MSI’s Evangelion themed parts are undoubtedly unique, the range is made up of products that already exist. Inside the custom MPG Gungnir is an MSI B660 Tomahawk board, MAG Coreliquid CPU cooler, and MAG A650BN PSU.

The MSI x Evangelion e: Project range is expected in March 2022, so it won’t be long before we can pack our graphics cards into one of the coolest PC cases we’ve ever seen.
