In a recent interview with one of the anime’s producers Mushoku Tensei: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu (Jobless Reincarnation: I Will Seriously Try If I Go to Another World) Nobuhiro Osawa made some interesting statements about the anime.
The interview was conducted by the Japanese website Former Web, in which some interesting things have been touched as the preparation of this animated project, how it was prepared for the production of the anime, and how it felt when watching the production of this. Let’s look at these excerpts from the interview:
How did you prepare to carry out this project?
– About four years ago, the editor-in-chief of MF Books informed me about the idea of the project, at that time he had nothing planned or established. I read the light novel until volume 12. It was fun. I thought it was a drama in a fantasy world, and immediately wanted to animate it, that’s why I communicated as quickly as possible with the editor-in-chief of MF Books. So far, I have worked in the production of animes like Sword Art Online Y Danmachi, so I hope this project is also to your liking.
What did you keep in mind when carrying out the anime adaptation?
– The story was very solid, and too long, so as a producer, I started to organize and create a production system to carry out this anime adaptation. After analyzing and conducting extensive research, I ended up opting to create a new animation studio for this project. The president of Studio Bind, Toshiya Otomo, and the director in charge Manabu Okamoto, they put together a solid workforce for the production of this anime.
Here is something to mention, and that is that according to a report made by some media, in this interview it has also been reported that the anime is planned to be extensive, and not only in one season.
Synopsis Mushoku Tensei: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu: A 34-year-old who has not accomplished much in his life is hit by a bus, but his story doesn’t end there. Having reincarnated as a child, he will embark on an epic adventure.
