Net Games launches’Blue Archive’ in Japan… Targeting the home of subculture

[아이뉴스24 문영수 기자] Net Games enters Japan, the home of subculture.

Net Games (CEO Park Yong-hyun) announced on the 4th that it has entered the official service of the mobile game’Blue Archive’ on Google Play and Apple App Store in Japan.

Blue Archive is the first subculture genre game of Net Games that won the Korean Game Awards for’Hit’ and’V4′ twice in 2016 and 2020. This game is a role-playing game (RPG) in which the player leads students from various academies and solves events in the city.

Users can participate in a variety of battles, from missions to wanted names, tactical battles (PvP), and all-out battles to fight giant bosses by organizing multiple units as a team with a total of 6 SD characters implemented in 3D graphics.

In order to reinforce the interaction with the characters, the’Momotalk’ messenger was also introduced. When you send and receive text messages with students on MomoTalk, you can enjoy the’Memorial Lobby’, an animation that improves character skills and makes the character feel alive.

Netgames PD Kim Yong-ha said, “Blue Archive is a game that puts a lot of effort into building a differentiated worldview and interactive production that enhances the character’s attractiveness.”

Yostar, a Japanese publisher of Blue Archive, released an animated TV commercial featuring the character’s youthful appearance and displayed outdoor advertisements in major areas of Tokyo, such as Akihabara, Shinjuku, and Shinagawa. Over 250,000 local users participated in the pre-registration event held for one month from January 4th to 4th this year.
