Netflix adds Tiger & Bunny to its catalog – PattoTV

As recently by one entry was revealed in the Netflix app, the 25-part anime series will be available from February 28, 2021 Tiger & Bunny make available on demand. It is not clear from the entry whether the series will only be available in the original with subtitles or with a German synchronization.

Tiger & Bunny is an original anime and was produced at Sunrise Studio under the direction of Keiichi Satou. Masafumi Nishida was responsible for the script together with Yuuya Takahashi and Tomohiro Suzuki. The character design comes from Masakazu Katsura and Yoshihiro Ike composed the music.

The anime first aired on Japanese TV from April to September 2011. A sequel was announced in January 2018, which turned out to be the second season in April 2020 and should start in Japan in 2022.

The Tiger & Bunny-Franchise was launched in 2012 with the film Tiger & Bunny the Movie: The Beginning expanded. A second film called Tiger & Bunny: The Rising premiered in Japan in February 2014. It is not yet known whether Netflix will also add the films to its catalog.
