Netflix: German trailer for “Pacific Rim: The Black”

After we reported just a few days ago that Netflix will offer the series “Pacific Rim: The Black” (Japanese: “Pacific Rim: Ankoku no Tairiku”) on demand worldwide from March 4, 2021, the VoD- Provider today a trailer, which you can find below in German and Japanese.

Anime was created by Polygon Pictures

The anime, which is produced entirely in 3DCG, is based on the two “Pacific Rim” real films and was created in the Japanese studio Polygon Pictures. Craig Kyle (Executive Producer of “Thor”) and Greg Johnson (screenplay of “Thor: The Twilight of the Gods”) acted as showrunners for the production company Legendary Entertainment.

The story of the series follows two siblings, an idealistic teenager and his naive young sister, who in a desperate search for their missing parents are forced to fly an abandoned “hunter” through hostile territory.

The science fiction film “Pacific Rim” from 2013 can also be streamed on Netflix. In March 2018, a sequel entitled “Pacific Rim: Uprising” was released, which has not yet been available on Netflix in this country.
