Orient (manga) – Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Orient (Orient, East?) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Shinobu Ohtaka. It began its serialization in the magazine Weekly Shōnen Magazine from the publisher Kodansha in May 2018 to later be transferred to the Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine in January 2021, thus beginning its monthly publication from February of the same year. An anime adaptation has been announced.

The story revolves around a 15-year-old boy named Musashi and takes place in the Sengoku period, in which Japan is ruled by demons. Musashi will face the demons with his “special” power in an attempt to save humanity with his friend Kojiro.

Orient is a manga series written and illustrated by Shinobu Ohtaka, his previous works include, Sumomomo Momomo and Magi. It was serialized by Kodansha publisher in its Weekly Shōnen Magazine from May 30, 2018 to January 6, 2021. On January 4, 2021 it was announced that it would continue its serialization in Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine, just like Kodansha, since February 9 of the same year. The publisher has compiled the chapters into tankōbon volumes. The first volume was published on August 17, 2018. To date 11 volumes have been published.

Anime[editar]

On January 4, 2021, it was announced that the series would receive an anime adaptation.
