Promo of the second half of the anime Blue Reflection Ray

The official Twitter account of Blue Reflection Ray, the animated television adaptation of the game Blue Reflection – Maboroshi ni Mau Shōjo no Ken, from Gust, has posted a promo for the second half of the anime. In the video you can listen to the new main themes, on the one hand, the opening, Atokku, interpreted by Eir Aoi; and on the other the ending, fluoresce, interpreted by ACCAMER.

The anime premiered on April 9. The website announced that the domestic Blu-ray editions have been canceled due to “various reasons”, and that pre-orders will be refunded to buyers.

Risako Yoshida (Mahōka Kōkō no Rettōsei: Raihōsha-hen, Diabolik Lovers More, Blood) was in charge of the direction of the anime under the studio J.C. Staff. Akiko Waba (EUREKA SEVEN AO, Nagi no Asukara, Lostorage incited WIXOSS) was in charge of writing and supervising the scripts. Koichi Kikuta adapted the original character designs from Mel Kishida for anime. Yoshikazu Iwanami took care of the bass sound direction Magic Capsule, Y Daisuke Shinoda composed the music.

The game was released for PlayStation 4 and Steam in September 2017 for North America and Europe. In March 2017, it was released in Japan for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.

The synopsis of the game is as follows:

Blue Reflection takes place at Hoshinomiya Girls’ High School in present-day Japan, in the height of summer. The player takes on the role of Hinako Shirai, a ballet dancer who injured her knee a year before the start of the game and has been unable to dance since. After meeting the Yuzuki sisters and Lime Shijou, she is given the power to fight as a magical girl known as “Reflector”, allowing her to move freely.
