The game Blue Reflection – Maboroshi ni Mau Shōjo no Ken will get anime in April

KOEI Tecmo Games has announced that the game Blue Reflection – Maboroshi ni Mau Shōjo no Ken, from Gust, will have a animated television adaptation, released in April. The anime is titled Blue Reflection Ray.

The voices announced are:

Manaka Iwami as Hiori Hirahara and Haruka Chisuga as Luke Hanari

Risako Yoshida (Mahōka Kōkō no Rettōsei: Raihōsha-hen, Diabolik Lovers More, Blood) is in charge of directing the anime under the studio J.C. Staff. Akiko Waba (EUREKA SEVEN AO, Nagi no Asukara, Lostorage incited WIXOSS) is in charge of writing and supervising the scripts. Koichi Kikuta adapts original character designs from Mel Kishida | for anime. Yoshikazu Iwanami handles the bass sound direction Magic Capsule, Y Daisuke Shinoda composes the music. The game was released for PlayStation 4 and Steam in September 2017 for North America and Europe. In March 2017, it was released in Japan for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.

The synopsis of the game is as follows:

Blue Reflection takes place at Hoshinomiya Girls’ High School in present-day Japan, in the height of summer. The player takes on the role of Hinako Shirai, a ballet dancer who injured her knee a year before the start of the game and has been unable to dance since. After meeting the Yuzuki sisters and Lime Shijou, she is given the power to fight as a magical girl known as “Reflector”, allowing her to move freely.
