Together with Bridgerton, it is the series of the moment. We are talking about The Queen of Chess, a Netflix miniseries created by Scott Frank and Allan Scott. Released on the platform last October, The Chess Queen is based on the 1983 novel of the same name by Walter Tevis. The series has had an extraordinary global success, culminating in the last few days with two nominations at the Golden Globes 2021. Waiting to understand if sooner or more there will be a second season, today we reveal an incredible cosplay that concerns the protagonist of the series, or Beth Harmon.
Beth’s charming cosplay
The chess queen, as is well known, tells the story of a child prodigy of chess – such Beth Harmon – from the age of eight onwards. Having become a young woman, Betg will find herself battling addiction to alcohol and drugs in an attempt to become a great chess master.
Beth Harmon is played by actress Anya Taylor Joy. A cosplayer, named Paris Burns, has decided to put herself in the shoes of the chess queen by copying her look only halfway. As Paris herself admits, not having the right clothes in her wardrobe, she decided to focus everything on her hair. But as you can see from the image below, the resemblance to Anya Taylor Joy is breathtaking!
