“Two-faced brother” is a new release date for an anime about burnout at work at 31

TV adaptation of the manga “Double-faced brother” (Uramichi Oniisan) received a new release date: the series will hit the screens in July this year. Initially, the anime was supposed to start back in 2020, but “for production reasons” it was postponed for a year. Also, the second character designer, Yusuke Shibata, joined the authorship (so it can be assumed that the problems with the appearance of the heroes are the very “production reasons”, but this is not certain).

31-year-old Uramichi Omota is an employee of the children’s educational TV program Together with Mom, where he is responsible for physical education. On screen, he is cheerful and upbeat, but in reality he is emotionally unstable. The plot examines the dark sides of the life of “young adults”.
