Corrections Policy

How to flag an error and what happens after we receive it.

Send us the exact issue

Use our contact page and include the article link, the statement you believe is wrong, and a reliable source that supports the correction.

How we review requests

We compare the request with the article's cited material and any relevant primary or independent sources. We may ask for more context before changing the story.

What we change

Clear factual, attribution, date, and link errors are corrected promptly. A substantive correction is noted in the article; small spelling or formatting fixes may be made without a note. We do not silently rewrite a disputed factual claim.

AI-assisted content

AI assistance does not lower the correction standard. If an AI-assisted guide contains an unsupported or unsafe recommendation, please flag it through the same process.
