Blerdcon's Cosplay Contest is a premier showcase for Black cosplayers, celebrating craftsmanship, creativity, and self-expression. The contest features various divisions, including Novice, Journeyman, and Master, as well as a Kids Cosplay Contest for ages 17 and under.
Competitors can participate in either the Craftsmanship Contest, where they can showcase their costume-making skills, or the Cosplay Runway, where they can demonstrate their character portrayal and posing abilities. A special award, 'Black Cosplayer of the Year,' will be given to a talented cosplayer who represents the Black cosplay community in a positive and empowering way.
