Japan Expo 2026 runs July 9–12 at the Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center, celebrating its 25th anniversary. It's the largest festival of Japanese and Asian pop culture in Europe, covering manga, anime, gaming, music, traditional arts, fashion, martial arts, and cosplay.
The cosplay programming is a centerpiece, including the European leg of major international competitions and a constant stream of fan gatherings across the expansive halls. The indoor venue makes elaborate builds comfortable across the four days.
Japan Expo draws cosplayers from across Europe, so it's a great place to see regional takes on popular characters and to connect with the continent's cosplay community. Anime and game cosplay dominate, but the breadth of programming welcomes everything.
